This ClamAV distribution is based on the official ClamAV
sources but contains some optimizations as well as
additional features provided by the ClamWin team.
Please report bugs, ask questions or send comments here.
ClamAV's Virus databases are NOT included into the distribution
as they should be downloaded by using ClamAV's FreshClam.
- ClamAV third party signature update script -
ClamSup is a utility which updates third party signatures
for ClamAV like the ones
from SaneSecurity,
MSRBL
SecuriteInfo,
MalwarePatrol and OITC.
It supports http, ftp
and rsync downloads, is able to
unpack various archive formats
and can verify the integrity of downloaded ClamAV signatures.
The SaneSecurity, MSRBL and OITC signature
sets require the usage of Rsync (see below)
Rsync package for Windows which can be used with the ClamSup updater.
- ClamD process watchdog script -
ClamDog checks if ClamD responds and if not,
kills it
if it exists and restarts it afterwards.
- ClamAV signature decoder script -
SiD searches and decodes third party NDB
signatures for ClamAV back to ASCII text.
